While McGrath is best known for her own brand, Pat McGrath Labs, she has also played a key role in developing beauty collections for major fashion houses. This collaboration, however, is particularly noteworthy, blending Louis Vuitton’s heritage with her innovative touch.
A New Chapter in Luxury Beauty
Arriving in Autumn 2025, La Beauté Louis Vuitton is more than just a beauty launch—it’s a celebration of artistry and craftsmanship. Having spent over two decades crafting iconic runway looks for Louis Vuitton, McGrath now brings that expertise to the brand’s debut makeup collection.

“Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation. The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.” – Pat McGrath
With McGrath at the helm, this launch is set to redefine luxury beauty.
Louis Vuitton’s Beauty Legacy

Although this marks Louis Vuitton’s official debut in cosmetics, beauty has long been woven into its story. Since 1854, the House has designed elegant vanity cases for delicate toiletries, later expanding in the 1920s to include refined powder compacts, brushes, and mirrors—coveted by luminaries like soprano Marthe Chenal and composer Jan Paderewski.
Drawing from the brand’s archives, McGrath studied vintage vanity cases and accessories from the 19th century, ensuring that every aspect—from product textures to packaging—honors Louis Vuitton’s legacy while embracing modern innovation.
Now, La Beauté Louis Vuitton is set to bring a new vision of beauty, seamlessly blending heritage with contemporary artistry.
Introducing La Beauté Louis Vuitton

While specifics on the debut collection remain under wraps, one thing is certain—Louis Vuitton isn’t just entering the beauty world, it’s creating an entire luxury experience.
However, what we do know is that the collection will include opulent lipsticks, tinted lip balms, and eyeshadow quads, all crafted with the brand’s signature attention to detail. To further enhance the beauty experience, Louis Vuitton will also introduce bespoke small leather goods, including elegant lipstick cases and miniature trunks.
“La Beauté Louis Vuitton is a natural evolution, driven by our meticulous attention to quality, formula, and innovation,” says Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton. “This new universe allows us to accompany clients in their daily lives while celebrating creativity and heritage.”
