Now that the long-awaited Eras Tours are done and dusted, we can imagine the post-concert depression hitting hard. Instead of staying plugged in and listening to the surprise songs that you never got for the hundredth time, get up and do something for yourself!

You know what works best when you’re feeling a little blue? Retail therapy!

Or, in this case, aromatherapy. Nothing makes a better pick-me-up than bathing your skin in your favourite perfume – even better, in Taylor Swift’s favourite perfume.

If you want to take a page out of her book and experiment with fragrances she wears, keep your eyes peeled!

Tom Ford Santal Blush Eau de Parfum

Taylor Swift Fragrances Santal Blush

Thanks to late-night host David Letterman’s careful observation, we already know she smells like “expensive wood.”

Rumour also has it that she smells of sandalwood and cinnamon – very folklore. These rumours were proven in her 2020 Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, when fans spotted the luxe gold bottle of Tom Ford’s Santal Blush on her vanity backstage.

Although it was lying amidst other tour essentials like makeup and mints, it didn’t escape the eye of dedicated Swifties who live and breathe all things Taylor Swift.

Just as expected, the woody fragrance is laced with warm and earthy notes like sandalwood, cinnamon and ylang-ylang. It is soft and comforting, like a cosy fireplace, yet sexy and sophisticated, much like the Taylor we know today.

Tom Ford Santal Blush Eau de Parfum retails from S$300 and is available on tangs.com.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum

Taylor Swift Fragrances Flowerbomb

OG Swifties might already know this, but Taylor wasn’t always a fan of warm fragrances. In the earlier days of her career, she leaned more towards feminine, floral scents like Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb.

Flowerbomb quite literally explodes into an enchanting blend of floral accords, comprising of jasmine, rose, peony and cattleya notes. It’s fun and flirty, a bolder and vibrant fragrance that suited the younger Taylor to a tee.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum retails from S$175 and is available on tangs.com

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum

Taylor Swift Fragrances Tobacco Vanille

It seems like she is quite the fan of Tom Ford’s fragrances, with another one of their perfumes earning a place on her vanity.

It’s the smokey and sweet Tobacco Vanille, infused with spicy and creamy notes that wash down into a hint of woodiness.

On the first whiff, you might immediately notice the scent of tobacco leaves and blossom layered over vanilla, cacao and tonka beans. Take a second whiff and you’d probably notice the subtle elements of dried fruits and wood.

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum retails from S$450 and is available on tangs.com.

Taylor Swift’s Discontinued Perfumes

Taylor Swift Fragrances Wonderstruck

A decade ago, Taylor’s signature scent was vastly different from the woody sophistication we know it to be now. She used to wear her own collection of perfumes created with Elizabeth Arden.

From 2011 to 2014, she released five fragrances: Wonderstruck, Wonderstruck Enchanted, Taylor, Taylor Made of Starlight, and Incredible Things. While these fragrances were wildly popular then, they have since been discontinued.

Wonderstruck was her most popular fragrance of the five, featuring sweet, gourmand accords like raspberry, peach and vanilla. Much like the song it was inspired by, Enchanted, it carried an air of fresh and sweet floral elements, reminiscent of an enchanting first love.

The only way you can obtain these treasured artefacts is to scour e-commerce platforms like eBay, in search of an unopened bottle. Due to its scarcity, the prices of these fragrances have been excessively marked up, with each fetching up to a few hundreds.
