Say goodbye to The Ordinary’s concealers and foundations.

The Ordinary foundations used to be one of the most raved about products by the beauty community and at its peak, there was a waitlist of 25,000 for it.

Later, the brand launched its concealer collection, which received a lot of praises too.

This was why it came as a shock when The Ordinary announced a few days ago that they will discontinuing their Colours series,  which includes the brand’s makeup products, aside from their primers.

The Ordinary’s Colours collection has been loved by fans who consider the products great, budget-friendly options. Many past-users have commented that this line provides the perfect colour match for lots of skin tones and has a formula that feels extremely comfortable.

However, in The Ordinary’s official statement, they commented that, “Despite many people loving the formulas, we didn’t manage to reach enough of you with our Colours range and the products have not been profitable since their launch.”

Therefore, the following decisions were made:

  • Concealers to be discontinued by 30 January 2023
  • Serum Foundation and Coverage Foundation to be discontinued by June 2023
  • Both foundations and concealers are no longer available in stores and can only be purchased at theordinary.com and other retail sites while stocks last.

Many fans of the line have already expressed their disappointment on its departure but are grateful for the transparency The Ordinary has displayed regarding this decision.

So if you need to stock up on your favourite products from the Colours collection or if you’ve always wanted to try them out, you’ll have to do it now before it’s too late.
