10 products to help clear your skin and make it look brighter in March

With the first two months of 2018 gone, it’s time to start working on that skincare routine and taking better care of yourself to reach your skin goals for this year. Check out these newly-released skincare products for radiant, glowing skin!

1. Vichy LIFTACTIV vitamin C brightening skin corrector

This product is a unique 10-day cure, suitable for sensitive skin, which targets the effects of oxidative stress. Key ingredients in the corrector include 15% pure vitamin C and fragmented hyaluronic acid, both of which are popular and well-known for their anti-aging properties. The brand says that can expect skin regeneration for younger-looking skin after the 10 days of use!

The Vichy LIFTACTIV Vitamin C brightening skin corrector retails at SGD52 and will be available at leading pharmacies including Watsons, Guardian, Unity and selected hospital pharmacies from 1 March 2018.

Back acne can be extremely frustrating when you’re out dress-shopping! And even after your pimple popping days are over, back acne often leaves its mark in the form of scars and discolouration. 3. The Body Shop Roots of Strength firming shaping essence lotion

4. Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution X Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA++++

Two is better than one with this ultimate brightening duo from Kiehl’s! The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution removes dark spots for even skin tone, and the ultra light daily UV defense protects against sun damage and skin-damaging pollutants. Kiehl’s believes that a two-pronged approach consisting of correct and protect is the most effective solution to combat loss of clarity of exposure to UV rays and environmental pollution.

The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution is available at SGD92 for 30ml, or at SGD120 for the limited edition size of 50ml. The Ultra Light Daily Defense SPF 50 PA++++ is available at SGD56 for 30ml and SGD89 for 60ml. Both can be found at all Kiehl’s outlets islandwide from 1 March 2018.

5. Caolion pore triple action cleansing stick

If you haven’t heard of Caolion, it is a Korean beauty brand specialises in creating hypoallergenic, no-frills products without colouring, fragrances and alcohol. The Caolion Pore Triple Action Cleansing Stick can be used as both a makeup remover and a cleanser, and comes in the form of a stick balm that turns into oil upon skin application and foam upon contact with water. We love the convenient packaging and how the product texture easily converts!

There are two variations to the Caolion pore triple action cleansing stick – Charcoal for normal skin and Green Tea for sensitive skin, both retail at SGD37 at all Sephora oulets, as well as Sephora online.

6. La Prairie White Caviar Crème Extraordinaire

This extremely luxurious moisturising cream works to banish dark spots and skin discolourations, to give you luminous and even skin tone. La Prairie infused their latest powerful illuminating molecule to assure visible results after four weeks of usage. The cream promises to glowing skin, and is a truly a treat, considering its hefty price tag!

The White Caviar Crème Extraordinaire is retailing at SGD1090 for 60ml and will be available at all La Prairie counters from March 2018.

7. Chanel Sublimage L’extrait de crème

After 15 years of research, Chanel integrated the anti-aging power of Vanilla Planifolia to create the ultimate luxurious anti-ageing cream which contains hygroscopic agents, hyaluronic acid and two oily phases – the first consisting of camellia, jojoba and canola oil and the second containing protective vanilla flower enfleurage oil.

The Chanel Sublimage L’extrait de crème is available at all Chanel fragrance and beauty counters at SGD730 for 50g from 1 March 2018 onwards.

8. FANCL MCO mild cleansing oil

Calling all dry skin sufferers! If you’re as in love with oil-based cleansing as we are, the new FANCL MCO mild cleansing oil is a must-try! The newer version of FANCL’s popular MCO mild cleansing oil is further enhanced to remove makeup and skincare products with it’s new instant cleansing oil, which combines water-based makeup cleansing technology with the original cleansing oil formula.

The FANCL MCO mild cleansing oil is available at all FANCL stores at SGD30 for 120ml.

9. L’occitane Reine Blanche white infusion serum

For both hydration and whitening effects, the L’occaitane Reine Blanche White Infusion Serum combines two types of floral extracts – Meadowsweet Flower & White Florentine Iris. The serum promises to provide improved skin clarity in as short as two weeks of usage!
