As if acne itself isn’t bad enough, it often leaves behind a reminder of its dreadful presence after it is gone. This reminder can take the form of deep-seated scars (otherwise known as atrophic scars) and/or pigmentation (Post-inflammatory erythema (PIE) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)).
While we need a dermatologist to eliminate the former, we can improve the appearance of both by looking at products which even out the resultant discolouration.
This discolouration can take anywhere from a couple of months to over a year to fade away. There’s really no telling but thankfully, we have a whole plethora of products available to help speed up the process.
Here are 25 of the best products to improve your acne scars!

Part of a dermatologically tested, personalised skincare routine based on your snowperk iD™ (which can be obtained through an online skin assessment), snowperk Skin Soothing & Hydrating Booster is formulated with a blend of 30% Canadian willowherb extract and 25% prebiotic technology to calm skin redness while improving skin hydration.

What’s more, it also contains saccharide isomerate derived from kernel corn via a prebiotic technology that’s proven to effectively deliver deep hydration that lasts up to 72 hours while promoting better skin microbiome diversity for a healthy skin barrier in seven days.
Like all snowperk products, the Skin Soothing & Hydrating Booster is developed and made in Singapore to ensure a high standard of quality and safety. The formula contains 100% naturally derived plant ingredients without any fragrance and colourant, making it suitable even for sensitive skin.
As the formula is powered by a cocktail of highly concentrated actives, snowperk Skin Soothing & Hydrating Booster has to be used together with the Balancing Moisturiser Gel-Cream for best results instead of applying it directly onto the skin.
To use, simply mix one drop of the booster with one pump of the snowperk moisturiser. snowperk No. 5 Skin Soothing & Hydrating Booster can be used twice daily, in the morning and at night.
For a more accurate and personalised skincare routine, consider taking the dermatologist-tested snowperk iD™ online test which consists of 12 questions that need only one minute to answer.
