This matte lip product is definitely different from your typical liquid lipstick formulas. NYX’s soft matte lip cream has a thin, mousey texture that goes on light on your lips, leaving it super comfortable to wear all day long. Although the pigmentation needs a few layers to build up, the formula gives you the choice to have a sheer lip colour for a more natural look. These lip creams go for SGD14 at Sephora.
When we sat down to do a review on this line, we realised that a few of the DV team members actually own, not just one, but a few shades of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream! From our experience, the shade range is fantastic, the colours go on smoothly, and have great lasting power.

5. M.A.C. Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour
MAC is a brand that always kills it with their lip products, and their new Retro Matte Liquid Lips are no exception. Having tried both ranges, she confidently says, “I feel more comfortable wearing Kylie Mattes.”
8. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick is another OG liquid lipstick that is talked about constantly in the beauty community. Unfortunately, bareMinerals’ products are not available in Singapore at the moment.
This doesn’t stop us from putting it on all our wishlists in the hopes that a friend travelling overseas might be able to get their hands on them for us. bareMinerals is known for their down-to-earth products and this line is no different, as can be seen by how a user describes it on Makeupalley: “I normally hate liquid lipstick because it’s so drying, but this formula is AMAZING. It’s not drying or sticky, and it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing anything.”
