Daily Vanity Logo

Created by Anastasia Soare in her Beverly Hills flagship store in 1997 to combat the over-plucked brow trend of the ’90s, Anastasia Beverly Hills has indeed come a long way.

Beginning with brow products (whose popularity has stood the test of time), ABH is now also known for their contour and glow kits, liquid lipsticks, and eyeshadow palettes.

With such great quality and at the mid-to-high price range, it might be difficult to narrow down your ABH favourites. We’ve done the work for you: here are 11 best-selling or best-reviewed Anastasia Beverly Hills products that won’t let you down.

Unfortunately, Anastasia Beverly Hills is not yet available in physical presence in Singapore. However, you can order directly from the ABH site and they will ship to Singapore for USD17.95 (around SGD24) per order. Otherwise, you can also get free shipping with orders above USD75 (around SGD102) on Beautylish.

1. ABH Dipbrow Pomade

What it is: A waterproof, all-in-one brow product that put ABH on the beauty radar. Available in 11 shades, you’ll definitely find one to match your hair colour and skin tone. The matte formula dries quickly when applied and stay budge-proof till you take it off.

What reviews say: The Dipbrow is easy to apply and a little goes a long way – reviews generally agree that one pot will last you at least a year even with everyday use. The pigmented formula is also long-wearing unless you have very oily skin. Do make sure you screw on the lid tightly after each use so that the pomade doesn’t dry out!

2. ABH Sugar Glow Kit

What it is: Four metallic powder highlighters for eyes, face, and body. Intense metallic-lustre formula can be layered on each other or used separately, wet or dry. The four shades are Marshmallow (white pearl), Gumdrop (duo-chrome pink lilac), Starburst (icy pink), and Butterscotch (honey gold).

What reviews say: The Sugar Glow Kit is flattering on fair skin tones to medium-deep skin tones. These highlighters will also last throughout the day and layer on well as a face highlight. That being said, the shades are intensely pigmented and this kit is probably not for the faint-hearted.

3. ABH Brow Powder Duo

What it is: Like the Dipbrow Pomade, this comes in 11 shades for the perfect natural brow (it’s less harsh than the pomade). Each compact comes with two shades which you can mix together or use separately for the ideal colour. Did we mention it’s also smudge-proof?

What reviews say: The Brow Powder Duo is great for when you prefer a softer, more natural brow that’s equally long-wearing and budge-proof as the pomade. The formula blends well and is best for day-to-day use, and the two shades in each compact can be used together to create the perfect fade (gradient) for your brow.

The mix of neutral and sunset tones make this palette extremely versatile, taking you from day to night in an instant. Comes with a dual-ended brush for blending and packing on the pigment.

What reviews say: This palette offers great blendability and quality. The mix of neutral and warm tones in the Modern Renaissance also offer versatility and you can decide how dramatic you want your look to be. It also helps that the shades in this palette are absolutely on-trend at the moment. While the packaging is indeed very pretty and definitely instagrammable, it’ll take some care to not get it stained with the vibrant pigment in the palette.

5. ABH The Original Contour Kit

What it is: Said to be used by Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, it’s not surprising to know that this is a best-seller at Anastasia Beverly Hills. Three powder highlight shades and three powder contour shades come in each set in a buildable satin finish. The individual shades can even be refilled if you use some faster than others. Available in three sets of skin tones for perfectly chiselled cheekbones, jawline, and nose for everyone.

What reviews say: The powder formula is high quality, blendable, and buildable to your liking. With strong pigments, the kit is recommended by many, although some had issues with finding shades to match their skin tones. Makeup artists also confirm that this is a knockout product that deserves a place on your vanity space.

6. ABH Brow Wiz

What it is: A retractable brow pencil with a fine tip to fill in brow hairs effortlessly and precisely. The long-wearing, smudge-proof formula is a holy grail for many beauty aficionados and is available in 10 shades.

What reviews say: The Brow Wiz lives up to its name as being some sort of “wizard”, helping you get your eyebrows ready in a flash. The fine tip is perfect for filling in brows with realistic-looking hairlike strokes and the spoolie on the other end helps to blend things out. While the product is generally great, the packaging is unfortunately not as durable as you might expect.

7. ABH A23 Illuminator Brush

What it is: A large fluffy brush with soft, tapered bristles for applying ABH highlighter formulas. The bristles are also all-natural and their shape makes it easy to apply highlighter precisely on the high points of the face.

What reviews say: The brush is dense enough to pick up the right amount of product and fluffy enough to blend product well on your face. The A23 is said to work better than fan brushes and is made with high quality bristles that are soft to the touch. While the hype around this “perfect highlighting brush” is pretty universal, some reviewers have found cheaper alternatives for the brush shape and size.

8. ABH Liquid Lipstick

What it is: Available in 38 shades, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick has amassed a cult-following for its intensely pigmented, long-wearing formula. Each shade provide full coverage and promises to dry down to an opaque matte without drying out your lips underneath.

What reviews say: Liquid lipsticks from ABH are very pigmented and more or less transfer-proof, but reviewers find that the formula still dries out their lips unless they apply lip balm underneath. The colours available are well-formulated and will cater to a range of preferences and skin tones. They also offer highly pigmented across all the shades, unlike competitor brands. Make sure you clean off the wand on the inside of the tube to prevent applying too much product, though.

What it is: A compact, brush-on highlighter that brightens the face with a glow-from-within effect. The formula is extremely fine, meaning you won’t end up looking too sparkly like Edward Cullen in the sun, and is available in two flattering shades.

What reviews say: ABH makes gorgeous illuminators, and these are no different. You can build up your highlight from subtle to a “wet” look with this compact easily without looking patchy. Though some found that the formula only last a couple of hours, every pan like this boasts a smooth, finely-milled texture.
