We’ve heard a lot about liquid lipsticks from ColourPop. The brand offers liquid lipsticks that aren’t just affordable, but are also known for their rich pigmentation and long staying power.

But we are skeptical and want to put them to the test ourselves, to see if the Ultra Satin Lip range stays true to its reputation, and if the colours look good on Asian skin tones.

Is the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip good?

Rich, saturated pigment can be achieved with just one swipe of the wand; it looks like the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip and me are off to a good start.

The formula is rather thick, and this helps to ensure there’s precision in application, and it doesn’t streak or feather. Thankfully, the product is also creamy, which makes sure that it glides easily along the lips and still feels comfortable.

If you have used the ColourPop Matte Lip before, you’ll be happy to know that the Ultra Satin Lip delivers the same highly pigmented formula on lips, but feels a lot more moisturising on lips.

I wore it for the entire day without reapplication, and while some of it was tissued off after a meal, most of it stayed. In fact, it still looked very vivid despite not touching-up.
