Elaborating on thiamidol, Dr Tan shared that “it is clinically proven to reduce pigmentation without the side effects that other lightening agents like hydroquinone would have”. That means zero redness, stinging, irritation, or inflammation!
Other than these three powerhouse ingredients, Dr Tan pointed out glycerin, which is a “good moisturising agent that maintains the skin barrier“.

Tyrosinase is the key enzyme responsible for melanin synthesis, which is what gives skin its darker hue. According to Dr Tan, resorcinol is a tyrosinase inhibitor that works by preventing the production of melanin in the skin, ultimately leading to a lighter complexion.

At first glance, Dr Tan thought the Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Elasticity 3D Serum looked like a clinical and premium product, based on the colours of the packaging.
