Whenever we see products that people are raving about and that aren’t available here, we feel a dull ache in our hearts, because we want to get our hands on them too. And we’re looking at you, Anastasia Beverly Hills!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
What’s the hype: Anastasia Beverly Hills is known for their brow products, and this has a four-star rating on Sephora Australia. People who have bought it love how pigmented it is while delivering a soft everyday look. A reviewer even claims that this is “the only product that works” for her, and another says that this is the “best eyebrow pencil ever”.
What do we think: We love how this retractable brow pencil has a triangular tip, which allows us to use it to create natural-looking strokes that mimic hairs (use the sharpest point of the tip for fine strokes and the back side of the tip for thicker strokes) and as you turn it on its side, you can use it to fill in the rest of brows with broader strokes. The results are very natural-looking, and are long-lasting.
2. Sunday Riley Juno Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil
What’s the hype: Sunday Riley’s range of face oils has achieved a cult status among beauty enthusiasts. The Juno face oil, which we managed to get our hands on, received 4.4 star rating on Sephora USA and 4 star on Makeualley. Most reviewers who love it say that while it’s a bit of a splurge, it’s worth every cent because it makes their skin glow.
What do we think: We were first sold by its gorgeous packaging that features a gradient effect on the glass bottle. We then fall in love for what it really is because of how nourishing the oil is without leaving behind an icky greasiness. It is formulated with antioxidant-rich seed oils, and is great for fine lines, wrinkles, and dryness. We find that dry lines on our skin, especially around the lips are nourished and smoothed out instantly after we use it.
3. Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick in Papaye
What’s the hype: Instagram went crazy for this liquid lipstick (in this specific shade) because of how beautiful the rose gold shade looks in pictures. It is also one of the most sought-after product on the Jouer website, with 4.9 star rating.
What do we think: It was definitely love at first swipe. The lipstick turned our lips into a gorgeous rose gold shade that is slightly iridescent. We feel like a golden goddess! It’s uniquely beautiful on its own and adds dimension to your lips when worn on top of your favourite lip colour.
4. Lipstick Queen Frog Prince Cream Blush
What’s the hype: Don’t be fooled by its green appearance! This frog shade turns into a winner when you put your finger on it and swipe it on your cheeks. Besides the colour-changing novelty, reviewers who have tried the product also love that the colour looks natural on them and blends out easily. Many said that they would repurchase for what it is.
What do we think: The colour didn’t turn pink immediately and left a dark green tone on our cheeks – and that got us worried! Thankfully, as we blend out the shade with our fingers, it slowly transformed into a beautiful reddish shade. Don’t make the mistake of swiping on product because it can get rather strong if you apply too much of it.
5. Too Cool for School Dinoplatz Cushy Blusher
What’s the hype: This special line of products was a collaboration between the Korean brand and New York-based architect and painter Hatori Sando. It features adorable designs of buildings and dinosaurs, which makes the line an absolute eye candy and a collectible!
What do we think: Seeing a cute dinosaur on a summer vacation on our packaging really made our day. But it is more than an eye candy. This blusher dispenses easily onto the detachable cushion (they even gave an extra one in the package so you can change it when the original one gets too dirty!) and finishes as a beautiful pastel pink shade on the cheeks. It gives complexion a healthy-looking glow that’s subtle.
