Model and actress Kiko Mizuhara is over 30 but looks like she’s barely 20! Here are her beauty tips

Even if you’re not familiar with the name Kiko Mizuhara, you’ve probably seen the face of this American-born Japanese actress around.

This model has appeared in major Vogue editorials as well as shot ad campaigns for Diesel, Phillip Lip, Vivienne Tam, and more.

She’s even starred in popular Japanese movies like Attack On Titan: Part 1 and Norwegian Wood. Plus, you may have spotted her on Netflix’s Queer Eye: We’re In Japan!, where she stepped in as the Fab Five’s guide in Tokyo.

What we find shocking is that this Kiko Mizuhara is over 30 years old but looks like she barely turned 20 to us. We’re seriously amazed at how beautiful she is, so we’ve gone ahead and done some research on her beauty tips to share them with you.

She washes her face with water every morning

At the beginning of the day, Kiko only uses water when washing her face and forgoes using a cleanser. This way, it is gentler on the skin. In fact, we’re also fond of the “water cleansing” hack!

She alternates between hot and cold water as she feels that it really makes her skin look better that way.

She applies skincare slowly

When it comes to skincare application, Kiko takes her time with it and never rushes the process. For example, she leaves her toner to completely absorb before moving on to the next step.

She says this habit was started by her mum, who advised her that applying skincare too fast will cause it to not work as well.

She uses a radiofrequency facial device

She can do her makeup in five minutes

Her makeup routine is so easy that she finds herself doing it on the go in taxis. Kiko first curls her lashes and applies mascara before filling in her eyebrows.

She then applies a colour correcting base to her face and layers it with concealer for a more natural look. Lipstick is the very last step in her makeup routine.

She lines her eyes fully, filling in all gaps

Kiko loves a beautiful cat eye, so what she does is use an eyeliner to fill in the space between her eyelashes. This way, there are gaps along her lash line.

She also starts with the tail ends first when she is lining her eyes, and always makes sure that both cat eyes are as uniform as can be.

She loves a classic, ’50s-inspired makeup look

Even though Kiko could probably go as wild as she wants with makeup thanks to her beautiful complexion and features, she always has difficulty applying different styles.

Her go-to makeup look is the classic 1950s-inspired makeup such as those worn by the iconic Audrey Hepburn.

She often goes to saunas

Saunas are something that this model frequents as she says her face feels lifted and her skin looks brighter after a good steam session.

She enters a dry sauna and goes into the cold water a maximum of four times. She says that you have got to go into the cold water as it really does make a big difference.

She has a relaxing nighttime beauty routine

Kiko relaxes after a long day of working by soaking in a hot bath filled with hydrogen or bath salt, which really helps to rest her body.

To replenish her hydration levels, she also makes sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day.
