Side-Swept Bangs
@vivsbeautynotes Replying to @🐾 love how versatile and easy this hairstyle is!! also, not my skin acting up halfway through 🥲 #sgbeauty #tiktokfashion #sgfashion #hairtok
This style has been making waves in the Korean scene, with idols like IVE’s Wonyoung and New Jeans’ Haerin effortlessly pulling it off.

Start with damp bangs and use a flat comb to brush them downwards. Then, blow-dry your hair in a downward direction.
To create side-swept bangs, part your hair to the side, bringing more hair to the front for a wispy effect. After that, simply tuck the portion of your bangs behind your ear.
Gently coat the bristles of a spooly brush with hairspray and comb through the individual strands of bangs framing the front part of your face on both sides.
Finally, spritz some hairspray on your fingers and gently secure the ends of the bangs by pressing them to the sides of your ear.
You can choose to accessorise this look with hair clips or leave it as is, and you’re good to go!
Y2K Low Bun

We’ve seen idols like (G)-idle’s Shuhua and Aespa’s Winter rocking this look, which is a modern twist on side-swept bangs.

Start with side-swept bangs and part your hair to get longer bangs on both sides.
Gather the rest of your hair into a ponytail and secure it.
Create a three-strand braid, leaving a significant amount of hair at the end before securing it with an elastic.
Now, wrap that braid around itself, leaving the little ponytail at the end, and secure this bun with an elastic.
That’s the back sorted!
For the front, tuck those long strands of side bangs behind your ears, using the end of a comb to guide them and frame your face nicely.
Lastly, use hairspray to set the ends of the ponytail, making it look just a bit spiky and keeping it in place.
You’re all set! This is a simple look that can be dressed up elegantly or given a playful twist.
Braided Pigtails
@vivsbeautynotes maybe this will look better with blonde extensions???? or maybe this only looks good on jennie HAHAH #sgbeauty #tiktokfashion #sgfashion #jennie #jennieyouandme
This style adds a fun twist to your regular pigtails, and it’s the same look Blackpink’s Jennie sported for her “You & Me” photoshoot. We love how quick and easy this elevated ponytail can be!

Start by parting your hair down the middle.
Next, put one side of your hair into a high ponytail, with the ponytail’s height around the middle of your forehead.
To secure the ponytail, loop an elastic band and use a U-pin for extra hold.
Repeat these steps on the other side of your hair.
Now, create a simple three-strand braid and secure it with a clear elastic.
Wrap the braid around the hair tie and use a U-pin to keep it in place.
Repeat the same steps for the other side of the ponytail.
And there you have it! This playful look elevates your regular pigtails effortlessly.
Which hairstyle will you attempt first?
