Bangkok is one of the most popular cities we travel to for a quick getaway. You probably have a rough idea of where the popular shopping spots are, but how many places in Bangkok do you know of where you can treat yourself to a relaxing spa session without breaking the bank? Read on to find out where to go for your next spa destination.

1. Health Land

bangkok spa health land

We start the post with the most famous of them all. If you frequent Bangkok, or know friends who do, it’s more than likely that you’ve heard of Health Land. Easily one of the most recognisable spas in Bangkok, Health Land is also a huge hit with travelling Singaporeans.

Health Land’s various branches are scattered throughout Bangkok and Pattaya. The luxuriant décor and atmosphere might make you wary of their prices, but the affordability of this spa will shock you. A traditional Thai massage only costs THB 550 for an entire two hours, while a 1-hour foot reflexology session costs THB 400. How’s that for a steal?

They may not have a website with a price list, but a relatively recent reviewer has mentioned that she enjoyed a 90-minute session of a Thai massage with a foot and leg massage, all for THB 450!

Sumalai Thai Massage has been established for almost two decades, since 2001, and they also double up as a training centre for budding massage therapists.

Hapa Spa stands out from the rest of massage parlours by employing a rather quirky, futuristic theme to their interior design and furniture. The photo above almost looks like a dentist’s office, but it’s actually massage beds! They’re a 10 minute walk from the Nana BTS station.

A Thai massage here will cost only THB 390 for 60 minutes, up to THB 690 for 120 minutes. Other types of massages that they offer include hot oil massages, and candle massages.
