Canada is known for many great things— you’ve got Tim Hortons, poutine, maple syrup, hockey, and the cold weather. But Canada also has a lot of great beauty brands that often go underrated. A lot of these brands focus of natural and organic beauty, which is great for basically anyone and any skin type.

So, if you find yourself travelling up north to the land of Canada, these are some beauty brands to consider picking up – including several American brands that have yet to be brought into Singapore!

1. Bite Beauty

Bite Beauty definitely tops the list for Canadian brands you have to check out. Founder of Bite Beauty, Susanne Lang, wanted to create a nourishing, natural lipstick made with non-toxic ingredients that could used on everyone. Since then, Bite Beauty has conquered the lip game these recent years for its large range in shades made with natural ingredients.

Their Amuse Bouche Lipsticks (CAD30) come in a variety of colours and is extremely creamy in texture. One of their more recent products is their Multisticks (CAD28), which also come in many natural colours and can be applied to your eyes, lips, and cheeks.

While you can find Bite Beauty at any Sephora store in Canada, we really recommend you to check out their Lip Lab Store in Toronto. At the Lip Lab, you’ll be able to create your own lipstick – from choosing the shade and scent, to the packaging. Slots get booked out quickly, so you may want to contact them for an appointment once you know you’re heading to Toronto.

2. Marcelle

Marcelle was created back in 1874 and is known for their hypo-allergenic and fragrance-free skincare and makeup products. They have products that cater to all types of women for many generations now. 4. RMS Beauty

RMS Beauty products can be found at most beauty boutiques and organic shops in Canada or on the Sephora Canada website. Some of the favourites include the Master Mixer (CAD47.50), Magic Luminizer (CAD47.50), and Buriti Bronzer (CAD35), all of which give you a natural iridescent glow.

6. Buxom

Buxom first gained their following with their popular lip glosses before venturing out to create other makeup products. Although this is another American-based brand, Buxom has not been brought over to Singapore yet so it’s definitely a brand to look out for in Canada as it is sold at most Canadian Sephora stores. If you love your lip glosses, you have to try their Full-On Lip Polish (CAD24) as they have a slight plumping affect that leave your lips looking plump with minimal tingling, while it looks great on top of any lip colour.

But if you’re heading to Canada, specifically Ontario or Vancouver, you’re in luck! Makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury has been in the beauty industry for more than 20 years and debuted her line back in 2013 and instantly became an international sensation.
