The Fragrance

I was on a mission to find out what this scent was, and was suprised to find it was this oil all along! It smells SO good! #nuxe #frenchpharmacy #nikkisbeautytips

♬ Memories of Paris – Paris Cafe Society

This alluring scent first went viral when TikToker Nikki (@uglyducklingskincare) shared a video of her journey to find the mysterious perfume French women were using!

Nikki searched high and low for the distinctive scent, failing to find it in the usual beauty stores like Sephora, until she visited the famous French pharmacy iPharm.

That’s where she discovered that the fragrance in question wasn’t actually a fragrance at all – it’s the Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil by Nuxe!

This dry oil has notes of orange blossom, magnolia, and vanilla, and is infused with nourishing oils like argan oil, macadamia oil, and borage oil.

It can be used for both skin and hair. Its antioxidant-enriched formula softens and soothes the skin while leaving hair shiny and nourished.

When used on the face, you can spritz it on its own or mix it into a moisturiser. You can also massage it into dry areas of your body. We don’t recommend this if you have sensitive skin, though!

For your hair, spray one or two pumps of oil into your hands and apply it to the lengths and ends of your hair. You can even leave it on as a pre-shower hair mask!

Lastly, for the ultimate spa experience at home, add a few drops of the oil into a warm bath to elevate your self-care routine.

What People Are Saying

Nuxe’s products have been going viral online for a while, and here’s what other beauty enthusiasts have to say about their famous oil.

@uglyducklingskincare

Replying to @haleysaura i can’t get enough of this scent. I tried ti describe the scent for those who asked but I think I failed 😂It also comes as a perfume but I love the multi-purpose oil so much… the green one is next on my list – i heard its the best one 🫶 #nuxe

Nikki (@uglyducklingskincare) finds that it smells nutty due to ingredients such as macadamia and almond oil, which creates a fresh and clean scent for the final product.

She uses it mainly to de-frizz her hair and tame her baby hairs, giving her hair a smooth and glossy look!

Farah (@farahsthoughts) finds it particularly unique, unlike other orange blossom scents on the market! To her, the aroma of the dry oil brings to mind a summery sunkissed aesthetic, while the Huile Prodigieuse Florale has a stronger floral scent for those who like dainty and feminine perfumes.

Late for hype as always, but lets bring Nuxe back #nuxe #nuxeparis #perfume #fragrance #parfum #perfumecollection #eaudeparfum #parfumtiktok

Lastly, Natalie (@natalieperfumes) likes that the oil can be sprayed lightly and shares that it’s largely lightweight on the skin but can become a bit greasy when used on hair.

She also says that both the dry oil and the perfume have the exact same scent, making them basically interchangeable depending on your preferences.

Other Nuxe Products

Following the initial success of the original dry oil, Nuxe has released numerous other variations, catering to a wide range of beauty preferences!

Fans of more floral scents can indulge in Nuxe’s Huile Prodigieuse Florale, a more delicate version of the original dry oil with stronger hints of florals.

Plus, although the dry oils claim not to leave a greasy texture on the skin, Singapore’s humid weather might make using them a little uncomfortable.

Nuxe has also released the Prodigieux Le Parfum Eau De Parfum, a traditional perfume with the exact same scent as the oil!

Plus, Nuxe’s products aren’t just limited to fragrances – they even produce shimmering versions of the dry oil for cosmetic purposes, which contain golden pearly particles. Use them to highlight areas like your cheekbones, décolletage, or shoulders, for an enchanting and radiant glow!
