A flight attendant from Singapore Airlines recently shared her makeup routine on TikTok, providing useful tips on how to pair eyeshadows and blush.

For example, she suggests combining blue eyeshadow with pink blush for a lively look, while brown eyeshadow pairs beautifully with coral pink or orange blush.

For eyeshadow application, she recommends using at least three shades to achieve a gradient effect and blending them thoroughly for a smooth finish.

To make your eyes stand out, she recommends applying at least three coats on both the upper and lower lashes. This technique adds volume and length for a dramatic look.

For long-lasting lipstick, she swears by using a lip liner. Her tip? Don’t just outline your lips—fill them in completely with the lip liner before applying your lipstick. This not only defines your lips but also helps your lipstick last longer.

She begins by prepping her skin with Origins GinZing™ Ultra-Hydrating Energy-Boosting Cream, ensuring her complexion stays fresh and moisturised.

Next, she applies a good amount of Fairy Skin Sunscreen because sunscreen is a must, especially when you’re high above ground and the sun is brighter.

To tackle under-eye circles, she relies on the LA Girl Pro Conceal Corrector, which effectively brightens and conceals any signs of fatigue, helping her look well-rested even after a long flight.

Next, she primes her face with Celeteque Primer, noting that it’s unfortunately not available in Malaysia.

She then applies her favourite foundation, NARS Long Radiant Foundation, for a flawless base. To add a healthy glow, she uses Colourette‘s bronzer in the shade Jordyn, giving her complexion a sun-kissed finish.

She continues by applying L’Oreal Infallible Concealer for additional coverage. For a pop of colour and a radiant glow, she uses the Smashbox L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette.

Finally, she sets her entire look with Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, ensuring her makeup stays in place throughout the flight.

For her eyes, she creates a stunning brown-gold look using the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette and a Smashbox eyeshadow palette.

She enhances her eyes further with BYS White Eyeliner, making them pop. After curling her lashes, she applies Kiss Me Heroine Mascara for long, curled lashes that last.

Danielle, an Emirates Airlines flight attendant, showcased her makeup before a 14-hour flight and again after working completing 20 hours of work. Honestly, her makeup held up much better than ours ever does!

In her video, she noted that “these products will literally keep your makeup on all day, and most of them are from drugstores.”

Here’s what she used:

e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip Primer + 4% Niacinamide

She says the key to long-lasting makeup is using a good primer, and she relies on this one from e.l.f.. It creates a smooth base for her makeup while helping to control oil and improve skin texture, ensuring her look stays fresh all day.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink

She has been wearing red lipstick for 10 years and recently discovered a holy grail she claims is the best long-lasting lipstick she’s ever come across. It’s none other than Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink.
