We thought we’re over the marble trend. That’s until we’ve laid our eyes on the collection of products from Dear Dahlia, a new beauty brand from Korea – we know our infatuation isn’t over yet.

Dear Dahlia’s debut collection features the marble print on its packaging, laced with rose gold accents (oh yes, another look we can’t get enough of). We’re not sure if this is going to be the only marble-themed collection the brand will have or will be the standard look of all the products in the future, but we know we are in love.

The product that first caught our eyes is the Lip Paradise Intense Satin. This line of lipsticks has a creamy satin formula that’s made with plant-based ingredients (including the Dahlia flower) that help condition your lips. There are five bright shades available, which you can use to create the popular “fruit juice makeup look” effortlessly.

The Dear Dahlia Lip Paradise Intense Satin retails at KRW28,000 (approximately SGD33.20).

Dear Dahlia’s Skin Paradise Blooming Cushion Foundation can be easily mistaken as a beautiful coaster that you can find in a showroom or interior design catalogue. Its hexagon-shaped casing also features the marble print and rose gold accents, and houses a semi-matte cushion foundation that is made with ingredients that are certified organic. The brand claims that it’s suitable even for sensitive skin.

If you don’t have the habit to wear foundation but can’t leave home without sunscreen, you can consider the Skin Paradise Tone Up Sun Cushion SPF35 PA++. In the same packaging, this cushion sunscreen has no tint but leaves your skin looking more hydrated and radiant. Simply press the lid to dispense the product. Watch this video to see how it works:

The Dear Dahlia Skin Paradise Blooming Cushion Foundation retails at KRW38,000 (approximately SGD45) and the Skin Paradise Tone Up Sun Cushion at KRW33,000 (approximately SGD39.10).

Finally, you’ll love the thought that they put into the design of their blending sponge. The Dear Dahlia blending sponge is in the shape of a diamond, with flat areas that are great for applying product on the wider areas of your face, and sharper areas to reach to the contours of your face precisely.

The design of the sponge doesn’t veer from the rest of the collection; it features prints on them to look like pink marble. It retails at KRW9,800 (approximately SGD11.60).

Dear Dahlia products are available at their online store, however instructions are in Korean and may be difficult for non-speakers to navigate it. You can consider making a request at Airfrov, a platform that allows travellers to help bring back products from other countries. Use DVSG10 to enjoy SGD10 off when you spend SGD70 (and SGD5 when you spend SGD35) for first-time buyers.

UPDATE: Dear Dahlia products are now available on Sephora’s website – we expect that these will be sold out soon since this is the first time that the brand is retailing in Singapore, so hurry and get your hands on them fast!
