Like everyone else in Singapore, we’ve been crushing on Drunk Elephant even before it landed on our shores two years ago and now, the buzzy skincare brand is making us fall in love all over again with its latest hair and body launch!

The long-awaited Drunk Elephant body collection

It’s a launch long overdue, if you ask us – after all, isn’t it only logical for us to feed our entire skin with the same smart, nourishing ingredients that we use on our face?

Drunk Elephant founder Tiffany Masterson puts it best in her announcement of the new release writing, “I created a body line because I wanted to be able to implement my philosophy from head to toe. Skin is skin – and whether we call it the scalp or the eye area or the legs, it can only function at its healthiest when it’s treated with smart, nourishing, skin-compatible ingredients. All skin deserves to be respected with ingredients it can get along with.”

Can we get an amen up in here?

To make our hearts flutter even more, Drunk Elephant is also putting out a brand new hair care line developed in collaboration with celebrity hairstylist extraordinaire Chris McMillan (yup, he’s the guy who created the most iconic cut from the ’90s – the Rachel sported by Jennifer Aniston in Friends).

Masterson says, “I developed my hair line for many reasons, the main one being that I wanted to apply my unique skincare philosophy to the scalp – because the scalp is skin, too. My customers have loved this approach for their face and have been asking for something they could use for their hair and body (and to be honest, I was wishing for the same thing in my own personal routine).”

She further elaborated that she had been talking to McMillan, her longtime childhood friend who happens to know a lot about hair, about a potential collaboration. “I knew I could formulate interesting and innovative hair products, and I knew Chris could then test them out on different hair all day, every day and give me the feedback I needed to get things right. Everything lined up the right way at the right time, and, well, hair we are,” she quips.
