Let’s be honest. Some of us have certainly caved in to buying hair products simply because they smelled so darn good.
If you think we’re going to dissuade you from those sinful urges, then we suggest turning back, because we’re here to indulge you even more with super nice smelling hair products (that work super well!). We assure you, you’ll be smelling your tresses all the time after using these incredibly scented hair products.
1. Moist Diane Extra Fresh & Hydrate Shampoo
Containing the super moisturising organic argan oil and special keratin, this not only smells good, but also feels super refreshing, slightly minty, and light on the scalp.
Worried this might just be one of those shampoos that feel and smell super good, but don’t do much? Fret not – Moist Diane’s Fresh & Hydrate range is good for all hair types – whether you’re on the spectrum on the oily end or the dry, damaged end, their Fresh & Hydrate range has you covered by targeting both problems.
For the oily-scalped gals, it helps to provide oil control for up to 48 hours, and for those with dried, split-ends, it has the super moisturising argon oil to hydrate and repair dry, damaged ends, and keeps hair airy and light.
It retails at SGD16.90 (450ml) for both the shampoo and treatment product, and is available at Watsons, Fairprice (selected range), Tokyu Hands, BHG, Welcia-BHG, and Don Don Donki.
2. The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo & Conditioner
For those of you who have a soft spot for strawberries, we can already feel you getting weak at the knees.
Meant for dull hair and made up of mostly super sweet, mouth-watering Italian strawberries (but alas, not edible!) and aloe vera, the silicone-free, 100% vegan formula adds shine and helps detangle for soft, sweet-smelling locks all day long. You can also look forward to shinier hair that feels smooth.
Retails at SGD15 (250ml) and is available at all The Body Shop stores.
3. Herbal Essences bio:renew Shampoo Range
In several variants, including argan oil of morocco, passion flower & rice milk, and rosemary & herbs, all targeting different hair problems, these shampoos aren’t only silicon-, paraben-, and gluten-free, but also have nice, sweet, calming scents that linger after use, so you step out of the bathroom smelling great.
Like those therapeutic scents used in spas? This is it. Favour something a bit more fruity? Go for the passion flower & rice milk shampoo.

4. Yves Rocher Rinsing Vinegar
Prefer to stick to your regular shampoo? Then add this classy hair treatment to your routine. It contains raspberry vinegar that helps to repair and seal hair cuticles, leaving your hair soft, smooth, and radiant, while also helping to reduce mineral build up.
Think vinegar would smell yucky? One look at the reviewers’ section is enough to tell you how much people absolutely love the smell, even winning compliments from their peers. Word of caution: you’re going to find yourself dousing your hair with this product in the shower, and we can’t blame you for indulging!
P.S. It’s paraben-, colourant-, and silicone-free too!
It retails for SGD18 (150ml) and is available at all Yves Rocher stores and Sephora.
5. Ouai Hair Oil
Don’t be fooled by its understated packaging, Ouai Hair Oil is a product that packs a punch: not only is it good at smoothing out frizz, and sealing split ends, it also prevents colour from fading and protects the hair from sun damage.
Needless to say, it also smells amazing, with many reviewers likening the scent of the African Galanga Root Extract as a ‘pleasant, floral smell’.
It retails for SGD42 (45ml) and is available at Sephora.
6. Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt
A scrub for the scalp – yes, you heard us right! – this is a scrub meant as a detox treatment as it cleanses, purifies, restores balance, and soothes sensitive or oily scalps.
Containing sea salt as an exfoliant, it’ll also leave you smelling like ocean waves, and the beach.
Retails at SGD35 (75ml) and SGD79 (250ml), and is available at all Sephora stores.
7. Lush Blousey Shampoo
A thick, deeply moisturising shampoo that hydrates your hair, leaving it feeling soft, nourished and cared for, go bananas (literally) for this shampoo as it uses an intoxicating combination of bananas, berries, butters, and cocoa to leave your hair smelling and looking great.
It retails at SGD71 (240ml) and is available at all Lush stores and its online store.
8. Kopari Coconut Melt
Meant to be used from head to toe (yes, including your hair!), use this coconut treatment whenever – in the day time or overnight – for moisturised and shiny locks throughout the day.
Plus, feel free to skip on the perfume – it’ll leave you smelling like coconuts throughout the day.
It retails at SGD31 (75ml) and is available at all Sephora.
9. R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo
Vegan, cruelty-free, and leaving your hair dry and refreshed without that ever-so-annoying white mast on your scalp, R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo not only performs amazingly, but also smells amazing.
Infused with refreshing ingredients like bergamot, fig and floral and sweet scents like lotus flower and tonka beans, you’ll have people complimenting you left and right.
