Tea or coffee? If you chose tea, you’re in the right place. Lipton has collaborated with K-beauty brand A’pieu to create adorable tea-themed cushion primers!

This delightfully random collaboration is the latest addition to the multitudes of food-themed makeup products on the market.

So, whether you’re a tea enthusiast, or just curious about how a classic tea brand can be integrated with makeup, read on to find out more!

Lipton X A’pieu Tea-Themed Cushion Primers

This charming and quirky cushion primer is eye-catching from the very start. Its packaging is remarkably similar to a box of classic Lipton tea, so you might want to double-check what’s in your cart before you walk out with the wrong product!

In a show of dedication to the unique tea concept, the cushion has beautiful marbled swirls of white, reminiscent of a cup of tea with milk freshly added.

The sponge that comes with the primer is the same cheerful yellow as the Lipton logo, and shaped like a heart for extra cuteness. So, if you love quirky packaging, this primer is sure to appeal to you.

The primer itself comes in three varieties, or should we say flavours? Their distinct colours and range of benefits mean that you can pick out the unique primer that matches your favourite brew!

Check Out the Different “Flavours”

Milk Tea helps to blur out pores, and works as an oil control powder as well.

Peach will even out your complexion and even contains collagen to improve your skin’s condition.

Last but not least, Lemon contains vitamin C (like a real lemon!), so it’s sure to brighten your skin and leave you glowing.

All three are lightly scented with the fragrance of their corresponding Lipton teas, for those who love the aroma of a good cup of tea.

Apart from providing a smooth base for your makeup, the primer is moisturising, and even offers added sun protection with SPF30.

Miraculously, this isn’t the first time Lipton has produced tea-themed makeup. In 2023, Lipton collaborated with Japanese cosmetics brand Broccoli Cosmetics to release a range of products, including a teapot-shaped eyeshadow palette!

Unfortunately for us, the limited-edition Lipton X A’pieu primer is available only in Japan, but we hope it’ll reach our shores one day.

In the meantime, if you happen to be heading to Japan, consider keeping an eye out for these tea-riffic primers as a quirky and unique souvenir!
