Milk Makeup’s newest release, the Cooling Water Jelly Tint, has been making waves on social media for its adorably unique appearance!

This tint is the latest food-inspired makeup product to steal our hearts, and it even contains agar in order to achieve its unique texture.

With the same consistency as a stick of jelly, you might be enticed to take a bite of this one-of-a-kind product.

However, to our disappointment, the brand has emphasised that it’s strictly not edible.

Even though this candy-like stick can’t double up as a sugary snack, it’s still an innovative new product that everyone’s been raving about.

We’ve got all the details on how it works and what it does, so read on to find out more!

What Does It Do?

@christxiee

These new @milkmakeup cooling water jelly tints are probably the most INNOVATIVE thing of 2024 but also they deliver one of the most long lasting blush I have ever tried 😭 Check them @sephora or Sephora.com on 2/6 #MilkMakeupPartner #LiveYourLook

The Cooling Water Jelly Tint is a lip and cheek stain, meaning that you can use it as both blush and a lip tint!

The consistency of this product gives it a sheer finish, for those who love a natural look.

If you want a brighter effect, this tint is easily buildable, so you’ll get a more intense pop of colour with just a few more swipes.

It contains hydrating ingredients for a cooling effect, and you can even store it in your fridge for a refreshing effect, which is perfect for our tropical climate!

How To Use It?

To apply this product, you can swipe it directly onto your lips or cheeks.

You can also sweep a fluffy makeup brush over the stick and then onto your skin for a softer and more diffused look, which prevents bacteria from building up on the stick!

Once the tint is on your skin, you’ll have to work fast, as users have shared that it dries very quickly and can be hard to blend.

This tint is suitable to apply directly on bare skin, adding a lively hint of colour to your complexion if you’re in a rush, or just want a subtle and all-natural look!

On the other hand, if you’re using this with a full face of makeup, you won’t have to worry about it disturbing your foundation or concealer, as it’s said to layer well with other products.

However, it’s important to note that because this is a water-based product, it works better as a stain under cream products.

Many users have noted that this is a long-lasting stain that doesn’t transfer easily, but that also makes it difficult to remove.

To completely remove the stain from your skin, try an oil-based cleanser to break down the product, making it easier for you to wipe it off.

The Shade Range

This jelly-like tint offers four wearable and flattering shades that’ll give you a charming natural flush!

Burst is a sweet cool-toned pink, while Spritz is a summery coral shade for those with warm-toned skin! Chill is a vibrant red that’s great for a rosy makeup look, and Splash is a unique berry-like purple shade!

Where To Find It?

Unfortunately, this product hasn’t quite reached our shores yet! It retails on the Milk Makeup website for US$24 (approximately S$32), but doesn’t ship to Singapore.

In the meantime, other Milk Makeup products are available on Amazon and Selfridges, so we’re hoping that the Cooling Water Jelly Tint will make its debut on these platforms soon.
