1. Oribe Hair Beauty Collections

Oribe Hair Beauty

You might have heard a lot about Oribe. Created by fashion hairstylist Oribe Canales, the brand has collaborated with numerous big names such as the likes of Rihanna, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford, so you can be sure they don’t mess around.

Reason why this brand is loved even by A-list celebs? Oribe incorporates its signature Côte d’Azur fragrance into their entire range, so every product is exquisitely scented to make you smell — and feel — good. The products are also gluten-free, dermatologist-tested, vegetarian, PETA-tested, and incorporate UV technology to protect your hair while you’re under the sun!

This renowned and highly anticipated haircare brand has finally docked at our shores and we can now get hold of their products more easily.

Look out for their four collections: Gold Lust (pictured above), SignatureBrilliance & Shine and Magnificent Volume. which will be available at selected salons including Shunji Matsuo, Evolve and Chez Vous: Hideaway Hair Salon from 1 August 2020.

2. Diane Perfect Beauty Leave-in Hair Treatment Series

New Haircare Launches Diane Perfect Beauty

We know that dilemma: you want smooth and moisturised tresses but hair masking is just not your idea of a fun weekend.

If you’d like to step up your hair care routine without spending too much time, then the new range of products from Moist Diane’s Diane Perfect Beauty range will be totally up your alley.

This series of three comes in varying textures (mist, cream and oil): the 11-in-1 Perfect Mist, Perfect Moist Essence and Perfect Oil (pictured above), all priced at SGD19.90 each.

You’re free to layer the products, but here’s how you should use them: You can apply the lightweight Perfect Moist Essence to your hair anytime of the day when it’s feeling dry or frizzy. Meanwhile, apply the Perfect Oil to the ends of your tresses before a blow-dry, as the deeply nourishing oil will protect moisture from being stripped away. After that, you can spray on the Perfect Mist to ensure your hair stays healthy and in tip-top shape for the rest of the day.

Make your purchase at any Fairprice outlet or get them online from Shopee or Lazada.

3. Marc Anthony True Professional Invisible Dry Shampoo+ Collection

Marc Anthony True Professional Dry Shampoo+

Dry shampoos are a hair-saviour for second-day hair or oily scalps that see flat and limp hair by mid-day. If you’re looking for a dry shampoo that can help freshen up your hair anytime you want, consider the new collection of five dry shampoos by Marc Anthony that are totally residue-free and clear.

We recommend using the Dry Shampoo+ Volume (floral) or Dry Shampoo+ Texture & Waves (tropical) for fuller, voluminous hair. Meanwhile, if you’re looking to combat frizz or dry hair, their Dry Shampoo+ Defrizz (vanilla), Dry Shampoo+ Shine (citrus) or Dry Shampoo+ Hydrating (fresh) will get the job done.

The original retail price for the products is SGD14.90, but they are now on sale at SGD11.90 until 16 August. They are available at any Watsons outlet.

4. Shiseido Professional Sublimic Adenovital (for thinning hair)

Shiseido Professional Sublimic Adenovital

The Shiseido Professional Sublimic Adenovital is perfect for those suffering from hair loss or looking to get fuller hair. This range of products are designed to promote hair growth using a special core powerising technology. This technology ensures that your hair roots are planted right down to the deepest layer of your scalp, where it can receive the strongest amount of growth signals.

Here are the products in their range: The powerful Adenovital Scalp Power-Shot (SGD100), the lightweight, cleansing Adenovital Shampoo Thinning Hair (SGD44), the hydrating Adenovital Scalp Treatment Thinning Hair, the Adenovital Hair Treatment Thinning Hair (SGD54) and Adenovital Hair Mask Thinning Hair (SGD76) meant for damage-control, and the Adenovital Volume Serum (SGD48) to increase hair thickness.

Not sure which one to try first? We suggest their star product, the Adenovital Scalp Power-Shot (SGD100) which is to be applied directly to the scalp twice a day to encourage the growth signals required for voluminous long hair.

French haircare brand PHYTO is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their bestselling product, Phytophanere (SGD79.90 for 120 pills) — which is also the world’s first haircare supplement. This supplement is chock full of nutrients like keratin, i.e. the structural protein vital for strengthening hair and nails. This year, in conjunction with their anniversary, PHYTO is releasing a new product, their Fortifying Vitality Shampoo (SGD24.90). 8. Jung Beauty (by Ksisters)

Jung Beauty 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa Moodshots 1 (1)

Exciting news! The founder of K-beauty brand Ksisters, Jungmin Lee, has kickstarted her very own brand, Jung Beauty. If you feel safer staying home this period, you can now happily skip the salons and care for your hair with the brand’s 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa ($50 for 5 pieces). As its name suggests, the product’s application consists of two steps:

  1. Steam and Hydrate
  2. Repair and Nourish

In step one, the product implements a special technology known as Heat Revival Complex to generate heat and allow easier penetration of hair nutrients. In step two, a leave-in treatment is provided to ensure all the nutrients acquired from the first step are effectively sealed in. Interestingly, the product is said to contain gold, which the brand claims is for hair shine purposes.

If you’re as intrigued as we are, you can order this product from Ksisters’ website to give it a try.
