This makeup artist creates optical illusions that will get you to do a double take

We often associate makeup with looking good; don’t forget that it’s also a creative expression. This is definitely evidently from the looks that Canadian makeup artist Mimi Choi have created.

According to her interview with Allure, she formerly worked as a school teacher, and has been doing makeup for three years now. She mostly uses regular makeup instead of special effects product for her looks, although they’re applied using a paint brush to achieve the detail that she wants. Some of the looks, she told Allure, can take up to five hours to complete.

Here are a few of our favourite looks. Some of them are so trippy, you may need to rest your eyes between them ;)

Today's Beauty Tip

Foundation may not be able to cover up deep wrinkles. Instead, use a small amount of highlighter around wrinkled areas. This can reflect light and make wrinkles appear less obvious.
