We’re always glad to see cosmetics that are tied to a specific fandom. This time, it’s Pokémon fans who get to be spoiled.
This time, the Pokémon Company have partnered with toy manufacturer Premium Bandai to release this gorgeous highlight powder to commemorate the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
The design of the highlighter is heavily inspired by the Pokémon Contests of the Sinnoh Region. The main colours here are rose gold, gold, white, pastel pink, and blue.
The top of the highlighter features a Pokéball adorned with a bow and a crystal in the centre. Surrounding this in gold are Pokémon that were introduced in Generation IV such as Togekiss, Mamoswine, and Ambipom.
Upon opening the highlighter, you’ll be greeted by this pale blue and pink heart surrounded by white. You can use all these highlight colours mixed together or use them separately if you want.
Don’t worry about the powder drying out your skin as it contains a few moisturising ingredients including hyaluronic acid and argan oil.
If you are in Japan, the Pokémon-themed highlighter can be pre-ordered from Premium Bandai until February 28 for 3,850 yen (~S$44.65) and should be sent around July.
We’ll be keeping our eyes on Singapore’s Premium Bandai page, but as of writing, the highlighter is not up for pre-order there.
Here’s to hoping that the Pokémon Company will release more cosmetics in the future, because we would love to see our favourite Pokémon on some makeup items!
