Remember Storybook Cosmetics that has given us a set of Harry Potter-inspired makeup brushes? They got onto our radar again, this time for a beautiful set of brushes with real flowers encased in their transparent handles.
Called the Secret Garden brushes, these gorgeous tools feature real, dried flowers placed in each acrylic handle by hand. Because the flowers are real, each brush is going to look unique. As cruelty-free brand, the brushes are topped with synthetic bristles and with rose gold details.
The Secret Garden collection consists of two sets of brushes: one for face makeup (USD60) and the other for eye makeup (USD55). The former consists of a foundation brush (for liquid/cream), flat top contour brush (for liquid/cream/powder), tapered powder/highlight brush, standard powder brush, and a setting/blush brush.
Kabuki brushes are in the works!
From what we saw from their Instagram feed, kabuki brushes from the same collection seem to be in the works. The brand also mentioned that because the flowers are seasonal, they may be releasing their next run of these brushes featuring different flowers.
