You may have remembered one of the highlights of Dior Beauty’s holiday collection last year: the Rouge Dior Minaudière in gold.
This statement piece was snapped up quickly, as soon as it hit the shelves in 2021.
If you’ve missed last year’s rendition, you’ll be happy to know that Dior Beauty has launched another exclusive Rouge Dior minaudière as part of its Christmas collection.
This year, the Rouge Dior minaudière is dressed in black, a colour that Christian Dior held dear, as he considered it an eternal symbol of elegance and femininity.
Like the one in gold launched last year, this year’s Rouge Dior minaudière features a clutch case and a removable lipstick holder. The clutch case is embellished with the iconic CD initials and can be carried as a clutch. Alternatively, you can attach a chain strap that comes with the minaudière, to wear it over your shoulder. Those who are looking to make a statement can also detach the lipstick holder, attach the chain strap to it, and wear it alone as a stylish necklace.
In the lipstick holder is a full-sized Rouge Dior lipstick; open the clutch and you’ll find three refills. The colours include: 471 Enchanted Pink, 674 Midnight Rose, 913 Mystic Plum, and 999 Velvet.
Don’t forget to take some time to appreciate the bullets of these lipsticks; each of them is engraved with the map of the night sky – an exclusive design by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo for Dior Beauty this year.
Like the minaudière launched last year, this comes with a mirror and measures 9.5 cm by 8 cm by 2.5 cm. If you remove its existing contents, you’ll be able to hold a few cards, lipstick, and a mini fragrance – yes, we tried this for ourselves at Daily Vanity.
The Rouge Dior Minaudière will retail for S$350 and be available from 11 November at all Dior Beauty Boutiques and Counters, and its online boutique, along with the rest of the Dior Beauty Holiday Look Collection. Additionally, it’ll also be available at Sephora ION Orchard and Sephora.sg.
Save the date in your calendar if you want to get your hands on it, because we’re pretty sure it’ll fly off the shelves again last year.
