After a successful run in Marina Bay Sands, the second installation of the Next-Gen pop-up store by SK-II is now open at Jem.
For a limited time only, the pop-up showcases SK-II’s latest and most advanced contactless skin analysis tool, the Mini Magic Scan.
Using state-of-the-art technology, the scan offers an analysis of your skin’s age, health, and beauty, while also designing a personalised PITERA regimen for you.
When Daily Vanity tried the Mini Magic Scan, we were impressed by how quickly the device was able to analyse skin health – in just three minutes!
It is also different from other analysis tools we’ve tried; besides sharing with the customers the areas of improvement, it also tells you your areas of beauty, affirming your efforts towards skincare.
No direct facial contact is needed because the Mini Magic Scan can detect fluctuation of skin at pixel level and assess the stability of skin by homing in on three zones: eye, cheeks and mouth, using facial recognition.
We were told that the Mini Magic Scan, which is powered by SK-II’s proprietary Skin Science and Diagnostics Innovation, is able to “look” at skin past the makeup you’re wearing. Singapore is the second city the device has travelled to (the first was Shanghai), which means you’ll be among the first in the world to try it when you’re at the pop-up.
Besides trying the Mini Magic Scan, you’ll also get to explore SK-II products, receive recommendations, and make purchases.
The SK-II Next-Gen pop-up will be open from today to 28 February 2023, from 10am to 10pm daily, at 50 Jurong Gateway Road, #02-32A, Jem, Singapore 608549. Entry is free.
