Brands have been dropping new fragrances and we spotted something common in them: very floral, very feminine. Here are eight new fragrances just right for the new season, evoking images of blooming flowers, sunshine and passionate moods for love.


1. BVLGARI Rose Goldea


The new BVLGARI Rose Goldea is more than just a fragrance, but a tribute to femininity. This floral-rose-musk fragrance is a bold scent of seduction and passion.Inspired by the story and sensuality of Cleopatra, the fragrance combines passionate rose and sophisticated musks into a blend of desire, creating a scent of an alluring, mesmerising and confident muse.

Top notes includes fresh pomegranate, extracts of rose petals and nectar of musks; middle notes with Damask rose absolute, grandiflorum jasmine absolute, and essence of white incense; bottom notes with sensual musks, sandalwood milk and essence of white incense.

2. Gucci Luxury Collection


The name says it all – the most luxurious fragrance collection by Gucci, curated by Alessandro Michele: The Alchemist’s Garden.

Inspired by the science of alchemy, the collection consists of seven Eau de Perfumes, three scented waters and four perfumed oils and a candle, designed to be layered for creating your own one of a kind bespoke scent.

Having their own distinct scent, all the fragrances in this collection are curated using pure natural plants and flowers layered with modern molecules, with a hero ingredient is magnified for each scent: Oud, Amber, Violet, Iris, Mimosa, Rose and Woods. Though you can unleash your imagination and have fun creating your very own fragrance, the price for these are on the higher end.

3. Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Flowerful


Imagine a bright, joyful rainbow garden, full of sparkling and blooming flowers, the Amo Flowerful is an explosion of flowers and colours. The floral addition to the Amo Ferragamo franchise is a youthful, exuberant, fresh fragrance, the pure expression of joy of living, spreading a contagious optimism and sparkling energy.

Top notes of this bright floral scent includes Italian Bitters, Yuzu flowers, Blackcurrant; heart notes of fruity-floral, pink peony, jasmine and plum blossom notes; bottom notes with a blend of vanilla, light woods and musk.

4. Prada Parfums La Femme Prada Velvet Edition,  L’Homme Prada Velvet Edition


The two new Prada Parfums is the epitome example of when fashion meets fragrance. Prada gives their two signature fragrances new looks, luxuriously dressing them in velvet, crafted in Italy by the artisan supplier of the fabric that has embroidered Prada’s bags for generations.

Two fragrances that explore the multifaceted nature of sexuality, playing with ingredients that are associated with femininity or masculinity, to provoke constantly shifting olfactory sensations. The La Femme Prada Velvet Edition spots an oriental floral scent, while the L’Homme Prada Velvet Edition is a Woody Chypre for men.

6. Jo Malone Wild Flowers & Weeds Collection


Jo Malone London’s new limited edition Wild Flowers & Weeds scents are inspired by wild plants, weeping willows and unruly weeds along the banks of a winding river.

Celebrating the beauty of wilderness, the collection is made up of five distinctive colognes. The Nettle & Wild Achillea, Willow & Amber, Cade & Cedarwood, Hemlock & Bergamot and Lupin & Patchouli, each offers unexpected but delightful scents, evoking nostalgic memories along a riverbank.

Jo Malone London Wild Flowers & Weeds Collection is now available at all Jo Malone London boutiques in Singapore and retail at SGD113 per bottle.

7. Jimmy Choo Floral Eau de Toilette


Femininity is once again connected with flowers. Jimmy Choo also chose to create an ode to femininity in their new fragrance, Floral. A combination of floral, fruity, musky scent blooms with feminine radiance, embodying the ultimate image of how a Jimmy Choo woman would look like. Sweet and elegant, Jimmy Choo Floral is like a delicate, sophisticated lady coming into bloom, celebrating the beauty of femininity.

Top Notes includes Bergamot Oil, Nectarine, Mandarin Oil; heart notes of Magnolia Flower Oil, Sweet Pea, Apricot Flower and base notes of Ambroxan, Musk, Blond Wood.

Jimmy Choo Floral will be available at all major departmental stores, Sephora, and Lazada from 8 April 2019. It retails at SGD69 (40ml), SGD115 (60ml), and SGD 149 (90ml). The 60ml bottle is exclusively available at Sasa.

8. Dior J’adore Roller Pearl


You can now apply the classic Dior J’adore on-the-go look because they just released this legendary scent in a delicate pearl-shaped roller bottle. As feminine as ever, the miniature amphora shows itself openly, emphasising the sensuality of a moment of absolute femininity.

Dior Perfumer-Creator Francois Demachy calls this an “extraordinary fragrance”, “because it succeeds in being effortlessly seductive while boasting an original signature.”
