However, rest assured that this reformulation aims to keep all the benefits of the original serum, while also fixing up some of its flaws.
Although this product might already function perfectly well for many users, The Ordinary believes in constantly improving in order to reach new heights!
Some customers found the previous formula to be too heavy and sticky, prompting The Ordinary to make adjustments with this feedback.
The new and improved Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 formula is now less tacky and more lightweight, ensuring better absorption and a smoother texture on the skin.
What Does The New Formula Do?
The original 2% hyaluronic acid concentration remains untouched, but the rest of the product has been improved upon, with new ingredients added in to enhance the serum’s benefits.
There are now five different forms of hyaluronic acid in this serum for maximum hydration. Together, they’re able to instantly moisturise, smooth, and plump skin.
In addition, ceramides have been added to maintain and protect your skin barrier, and keep moisture locked in.
After four weeks of using this product twice daily, users can look forward to improved skin elasticity and reduction of fine lines.
To keep your skin hydrated all day long, apply this serum to wet or dry skin after cleansing. Since it’s a water-based serum, make sure to use it before your oil-based products.
