Malaysian brand Wunderbath has always impressed us with their realistic-looking soap and bath bombs shaped like food. Their items are also handmade, vegan, cruelty-free, SLS-free, and paraben-free.
Last Lunar New Year, some of the items they featured included a Mandarin Orange soap (tangerine scent), Bun Bun soap (pandan scent), and Prosperity Coin soap (tangerine scent).
This year, the brand not only has these items back in stock but have also launched some new goodies that we’re extra excited for – and as always, each item is lovingly crafted, looks good to enough to eat, and smells tantalising too!
Have a look at their Lunar New Year 2022 collection.
Fortune Cookie Soap
The main item we are most excited about is undoubtedly the tangerine-scented Fortune Cookie soap as it contains a piece of “fortune” inside!
We can’t help but wonder what reading we will get with each soap. Don’t you want to try your luck and see what kind of fortune awaits you this coming Lunar New Year?
The Fortune Cookie soap retails for RM24.90 (approximately S$8.02) on Wunderbath’s official website.
Pineapple Tart Hand Sanitiser
Pineapple tarts are one of our favourite Lunar New Year cookies and we never would’ve imagined wanting a hand sanitiser with its scent.
Formulated with 75% alcohol, you don’t have to worry as it has been lab-tested and is proven to kill 99.999% of germs. This product has gooey pineapple jam as its top note and buttery pastry as its bottom note, so you can say goodbye to the overwhelming alcohol scent.
The Pineapple Tart Hand Sanitiser retails for RM18.90 (approximately S$6.09) on Wunderbath’s official website.
Instead of giving the usual red packet during Lunar New Year, why not opt for this unique lavender and honeysuckle-scented Angpow Soap?
By default, the item comes with a real RM1 (S$0.32) housed in it, so this could be a great gift for your Malaysian friends. If you want to splurge, you can even customise this item to change the value inside the soap, with the maximum amount being RM100 (S$32.22).
The Angpow Soap retails for RM19.60 (approximately S$6.32) on Wunderbath’s official website.
Mandarin Oranges Soap
Resembling the Sumo Mandarin, this year’s Mandarin Oranges soap sports a little bulb atop the fruit, giving it a pear-like shape. We think it looks extra cute this way.
The Mandarin Oranges Soap retails for RM28.90 (S$9.31) on Wunderbath’s official website.
