The influencer teased her followers yesterday (20 Jan) with an Instagram Story, asking them to look forward to a big announcement today (21 Jan).

This evening, Xiaxue posted a few Stories, announcing the launch of her makeup brand, Plastic Cosmetics, an obvious play on the nickname (“plastic”) she has been given by haters who criticise the multiple plastic surgeries she had openly admitted to.

She also announced the launch of the first (and only, at the moment) product of Plastic Cosmetics: false lashes that don’t require glue.

There are four lash styles available: Dolly Lashes, Glamorous Lashes, Natural Lashes, and Sultry Lashes. Each product comes with three pairs of false lashes and an eyeliner. These are all housed inside a glitter pink box.

In her announcement vlog, Xiaxue explained that these are magnetic lashes that work together with the eyeliner.

To use them, apply the eyeliner, wait for it to completely dry, and simply hold the lash over the line to stick it onto your lash line.

In the demonstration video, it looked like all it took was just a second to attach the lashes and another second to adjust them.

On the website, the brand said that shoppers can order by 22 January, before 4pm, if they’d like to receive the product by Chinese New Year.
