Tarte Rainforest of the Sea
At last. At last, we see this raved about collection by Tarte reach our shores. Inspired by oceans and marine life, the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea collection features aquatic skin-loving ingredients such as marine algae and flower extracts.

1. Tarte Color Splash Lipstick

We’ve tried this one and we can attest that it doesn’t stop at looking good – this lipstick packs some solid performance as well.
Though it isn’t a liquid lipstick formula, the lipstick boasts some serious staying power, to the point where we think it probably leaves a stain on the lips.
The colour goes on pigmented and smoothly, and we can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous lipstick.

2. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. II
Look at those colours. There’s something about this palette that keeps drawing us closer.
The Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. II is a follow-up to the cult classic and boasts a multi-tasking formula that primes your eyelids as well as packing on the pigment.
The palette has received rave reviews on Influenster, rating an average score of 4.4 out of 5. It features four matte and four micro-shimmers in dense, cool-toned colours.

3, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting 4-In-1 Mist
This mist not only looks good, but it smells oh-so-great. It’s said to achieve four functions in a single spray: it is a primer, a makeup setting spray, a hydrating mist and a skin refresher.
It seems that reviewers on Sephora SG have found that the Marine Boosting 4-In-1 Mist lives up to its claims, as reviewers said that it “saves a lot of money” and that it is a “must to get”.

4. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation SPF15
This foundation was the cornerstone of the Rainforest of the Sea collection when it first launched. The bottle not only looks pretty, but the foundation is dispensed in a unique dropper system (you press the top of the cap to dispense the foundation from the cap).
What people loved about it was how lightweight and hydrating the foundation felt – hence the name Water Foundation – which was a huge boon for those with drier skin. It received a 4.4 out of 5 average rating on Influenster.

Maybelline x Gigi Hadid
This was one of the most talked-about makeup collection collaborations of 2017 and we aren’t surprised. Gigi Hadid has become one of the biggest names in pop culture, so it was exciting to see her first foray into the makeup realm with Maybelline.
The collection is split into two halves to allude to Gigi’s jetsetting high life, shuttling to and fro from glamourous New York to sun-kissed Los Angeles. The East Coast Glam products veer towards the cooler side of the spectrum, while the West Coast Glow half tends towards warm-toned shades.

These wearable shades from the West Coast Glow half of the collection will certainly be a great go-to for an every day look. The palette is also mini-sized, so it’s easy to throw into your purse to touch up on the go.
The palette features six eyeshadow shades in a mix of matte and shimmery finishes.

6. Maybelline x Gigi Hadid East Coast Glam Dual-Ended Fiber Mascara in Black
Maybelline mascaras are renowned for a reason, so we’re really excited to check out this new and upcoming Dual-Ended Fiber Mascara. One half of the wand layers fiber onto your lashes, and the other half fills in with mascara, extending length and dramatising volume.
Call it the millennial pink syndrome, but there’s something about that nude, muted, dusty pink of the mascara tube that makes us want to own it immediately.

This makeup collection marks the first ever time Urban Decay has joined hands with a beauty influencer for a beauty collaboration. We think they couldn’t have found a better partner than in Kristen Leanne, who believes in cruelty-free beauty and also loves all the glitter and neon things.
7. Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Kaleidoscope Dream Eyeshadow Palette
The neon-bright and vivid colours of the cover makes such a beautiful contrast with the black and white design on the inset. The monochrome also sets off the brightness and intensity of the palette itself, and we just think everything is a match made in heaven here.
Also, look closely: that black and white design on the inset isn’t marble – it’s jellyfish.
