6. Apple Slice Sandwiches

Apple slice sandwiches are ultra fast breakfast food. You slice up an apple, then place granola or oatmeal in between apple slices. If you want a bit more energy, use peanut butter to hold the granola together. Otherwise, greek yoghurt or even ricotta cheese could work. You’ll get full from eating the grains, and the apple gives you energy to start your day right!

7. Baked Eggs in Tomato Cup

Get two or three giant tomatoes, cut them in half, and dig out the insides. Crack and drop one egg into each empty half of the tomatoes. Throw them in the oven, and bake till the eggs are cooked! Besides the obvious protein and vitamin boost, tomatoes have Lycopene, a naturally occurring cancer-fighting nutrient.

8. Chia Pudding

Now this is the only time you’ll be able to eat pudding during weight loss! Chia seeds are usually eaten dry, but if you soak them overnight in coconut milk and a bit of honey, they expand and have this gel-like consistency. Of course, this dish is best served cold, so the entire soaking process should take place in the fridge for best effect. The thickness of this pudding will make you feel full, but if you’re thinking of adding fruits, go ahead and do it. You can also top this dish off with granola or oatmeal if you want!

9. Smoked Salmon Toast

This is a time-saver if you pick up your salmon the night before. For this easy breakfast, wholegrain toast and a ricotta or yoghurt spread is preferred, but feel free to change it up with an avocado spread as well. Top it all off with a slice or two of smoked salmon and you’ve got a breakfast your colleagues will envy. Now all you need is a cup of coffee to finish off the meal!

10. Strawberry Soy Smoothie

Smoothies are usually not recommended as “weight loss food”, but if you really want to indulge in one, use soy milk to save a few calories. Add two cups of strawberries, one whole banana and a cup of soy milk into a blender and turn this mixture into a smoothie. It’s tasty, quick, and the soy milk gives you protein while helping you skip the fat that is in normal milk. Be sure to use unsweetened soy milk!
