When we think of crazy hair colours on Pinterest, the first thing that comes to mind (apart from #GOALS) is the equally CRAZY, bank breaking price we’d have to pay to achieve that colour.
While most people’s solution to the crazy prices of top salons here is to go to Johor Bahru (sorry, Malaysia!), that doesn’t mean that Singapore is devoid of affordable salons that can help you achieve Pinterest worthy locks.
We’ve scoured far and wide (on the Internet) and in our own neighbourhoods and other parts of Singapore to find hair salons that are offer reasonable prices, yet can give you top salon-worthy quality treatment.
1. Colorbar by Full House Salon
Located in the housing estate of Tampines, this hair salon has been garnering great reviews for its super competitive prices, AND, its top-notch hair dyeing services.
With their staff said to be trained and educated in Vidal Sassoon London and Joico Singapore, you just know you’ll be in good hands without breaking the bank.

Located in the heartland area of Kovan, if you live in the north-east area, you don’t even need to travel very far to achieve your crazy hair colour dreams.

Easties, instead of travelling the super long route to Malaysia (you’ll have to go to Woodlands first, just imagine!) you can just travel to Chop50s and leave with awesome, shiny hair.
Offering both non-bleach and bleached, crazy colours at SGD60 and SGD90 respectively (both under a hundred, imagine that!)

We haven’t forgotten about you, Westies! A hair salon located in Clementi, and offering student prices (for those in Secondary school and Primary school only, alas!), as well as pretty affordable ‘adult rates’ at SGD55 for one colour, this is probably one of the cheapest on our list, so you’re definitely in luck!

With a single hair colour (and not your usual red and brown boring shades!) going for SGD30, and multiple shades at SGD60, they are offering an absolute steal, but you don’t really need us pointing that out!

Wanna try living life on the wild side but are #broke? Live out your crazy follicle dreams at Kimage, where each colour only costs SGD25 – SGD30 for both normal and technical shades – that’s a steal!
Why they’re so cheap? Your hair will be managed by the students there, who’re looking to rack up experience in doing customers’ follicles, like your own. Sure, you’re essentially paying for student or junior stylists with less experience but with that kind of price, it really is difficult to say no. And don’t worry – the students are supervised by experienced stylists to make sure you get a great service.
PLUS, if you feel uneasy about it, you can even return back to the hair salon within 10 days and they’ll change it up for you, for free, so you can be sure that you’ll be leaving the salon happy with gorgeous locks to show off to the ‘gram.

A place with a booming portfolio on their Instagram page, you can be sure that your hair is in good hands. However, take note that there are reviewers who commented that the salon can get too busy to give sufficient attention to each of their customer.
